About Flowerhandlers

Because the floral industry is in a state of expansion it is becoming more diverse offering new opportunities for enjoying flowers and floristry as livelihood. The expansion is causing confusion for professionals: as old business methods are being replaced by new structures, systems techniques and for consumers: because flowers and information are being disseminated through different channels.

Every component of the floral industry (Retailers, Suppliers, and Support Groups) works to their highest levels to provide consumers (Flower Lovers) with the best product and the most satisfying floral experience possible. Often these components (like those in scientific communities) work with such strong focus on their individual task at hand they are unaware of other good work being accomplished within the industry that can positively effect and support them.

Flowerhandlers was designed to be a comprehensive resource tool for the floral industry and for those who are curious about it. We recognize that the different components of the industry are connective and interdependent. We are a catalyst for deliberate holistic expansion - everyone growing in congruency with one another and we focus on all aspects of the industry - Support Groups, Suppliers, Retailers, Professionals, and Consumers.

It is important that we (every component of the floral industry) each continue to work tenaciously on changing, growing, and improving the things that are important to us as individuals. At the same time it is helpful to have a holistic awareness of the industry so we each understand its broader aspects and implications.

By growing our individual businesses in ways that support, sustain, and improve all aspects of the industry we are co-creating the ideal industry - one that will respond to change and growth in a way that will serve all of humanity locally and globally.

The Flowerhandlers body of work is meant to provide a stage where we can highlight, correlate, and honor one another's work - bringing new meaning to our individual work and new understanding of our work to consumers.

Our intention is to show the industry as a pool of unlimited opportunity - for professionals to enjoy their livelihood and for consumers to enjoy floral products. We hope to offer insights and perspectives that will allow you to come to clarity about how you want to participate with flowers and the floral industry.
