Spring Bulletin
March, April, May
In February the joke around here was that the groundhog hadn't seen his shadow, so we were going to have six MORE weeks of spring (because we really had no winter). Now that we're at the end of March it's finally bright, sunny, cold, crisp, and windy - just what you'd expect for Maryland weather.
It will be interesting to see if we get our traditional April showers as the days go by... but the one thing we can count on happening every year in the spring (even though it has moved around a bit) is the World Floral Expo.
A couple of weeks ago floral industry professionals from all over the world came together in New York to enjoy exploring, networking, sharing, and learning through the first floral gathering of the year. We've recapped some highlights of the event here (like Andre Muelman of Hyperactive Farms, pictured here discovering this new Roseville Farms clematis) along with announcements of other upcoming floral events and opportunities you won't want to miss.
We know how busy Spring is in the flower world, and we appreciate your taking time to peruse the pages here to check out your friends and colleagues and find out what's new in their worlds - and what you might apply to yours.
